Hi Kim!

We're in New York! We arrived two days ago and it's been great. I can't believer the days have passed so quickly. We've done lots of different activities that made me feel happy. I've visited the Statue of Liberty, seen the Empire States and visited Central Park.

The first day we went to Central Park and there was a lot of people, we asked to a security man what's happened on and he told us they had a party. We wanted to attend, so we asked for permission we were allowed to. We had a great time.

I haven't done much shopping because we've done much activities, but I promise I'll buy you a souvenir before I come home.

 Review    

In my review, I'm going to compare three sports: Dance, Gymnastics and Volleyball. They are all very funny and you learn a lot. Dance is the most complicated because you have to do some shapes. Gymnastics haves got some bad things: you have to follow the rhythm,... But it's funny. Volleyball is a great sport, you learn how to play with a team, but often you get hurt.

In my opinion, Volleyball is a really good sport because you make friends,... However, you have to go every weekend to play matches. In Gymnastics you have some scheduled days to do competitions. Personally, I think Dance is the worts sport, because the shapes and the names are quite complicated.

In conclusion, I think Volleyball is the best sport, and I'm giving it five stars. Gymnastics I think it's funnier than Dance, so I'm giving it three stars and I'm giving it two stars to Dance.

I am writing to invite you to my grandparents' wedding anniversary. The event is the 2nd of April.

The party starts at 12.00pm at Can Pere restaurant, in Lleida.

At the event is going to sing the favourite music band of my grandparents, there is going to be a disco ball with colour lights, too. We are going to buy some small presents for us and some new clothes.

We thing you will enjoy this event, because one day you told me that you are excited for the colour light, and in this party there is going to be some.

AN ENVIRONMENTAL PROBLEM

 An environmental problem

There is an environmental problem, the water pollution.
The causes of this problem are: people put rubbish into rivers and also people put toxic products down the sink.

If we don't do something about this problem, people will get ill or die from disease, too.

One way to help reduce the problem is to use always rubbish bins. This way helps to save this problem because all the rubbish goes to the right place, but not into the water.

There is another way to help reduce this problem as well. Unless we use eco-friendly cleaning products at home, all the toxic products will go down the sink. This way helps reduce this problem because we won't use toxic products.

MY LAST BIRTHDAY

 My last birthday

Three months ago, in July, it was my birthday. I celebrated it in my house. My birthday was the twenty-nineth of July. I enjoyed it with my family: Grandma, Dad, Mum and Sister.

When I wake up, I played a game to find my presents. I ate and then, in the afternoon, I went with a friend, mum and sister to the swimming pool. At night, I had dinner and then I went to the street to see my friends. I felt very happy!

The event finished when I went to the street at night. I enjoyed a lot because it was a different birthday but my family made me enjoy it and they made me very happy!

LOCKDOWN DAILY ROUTINE

LOCKDOWN DAILY ROUTINE 

 Days Monday to Friday:

I always get up at 10 o’clock and I make the bed. When I finish I will have breakfast and then, every day I order and help with household chores and I do exercise, too. When I finish the tasks I go to do the homework in the bedroom. About two hours late, I usually stop between half past one and two to lay the table for lunch.

At the end of lunch, often I have one hour off. And then, past that hour, I go to do homework again in my bedroom. 

At eight o’clock, more or less, I go to the window and clap for all healthcare staff. Then sometimes I choose a film to watch while we have dinner and when it’s over, go to sleep between half past eleven and twelve.

I like my daily routine because I think it is well distributed. 

During the lockdown, I can do homework, play with the family, and many more things at home, but I can’t go outside.

I must stay at home because it is forbidden to go outside. Sometimes I play with the family because I think it is funny, I also do homework, sometimes I read a little, I send work I have done…

Now, at the moment, I’m doing homework. I’m also writing, looking at the weather, drawing, reading… 

Today the weather is a little weird. It’s cloudy, it’s a little cold and it looks like it should rain.

BANKSY

Banksy is an anonymous street artist that is world famous. This artist paint differents works of art normally on the street but also painted elsewhere. 

His or her works are especially known in London.

In this art work, there is a Star Wars character who is saying to stop the wars because it is painted an "o" and a "p" in places "a" and "r".

On the left, there is the Star Wars character with a jar of paint and a brush, and on the right you can see a few letters.

Banksy uses black, white, red and grey to do the work art and I imgine he or she uses a spray paint too.

I like this picture because it is saying there are no more wars.

This graffiti could be named "peace in the world".

A tour of our school

My secondary school

Hello. I'm Anna Olives. Welcome to Almatà school!!
Our school is 47 years old and has got 280 students.
We have got a beautiful building with some facilities.
Please come and visit our secondary school.

Here we are in the main entrance. These pictures are of the old school in the 1970s. This is the staffroom - only for teachers. These are 1ESO classes. In front of the classes there is the Art class. We do art twice a week.

Those rooms at the end of the corridor are the science lab and the ICT suite.
We are now in the second plant. That room is the canteen. I never eat in the canteen because I take a sandwich. In that floor there are the 2nd ESO classes.

THE BEDROOM OF MY DREAMS

Hello! I’m Anna and this is the bedroom of my dreams. Its name is “The bedroom of dreams”, It looks like a cloud because the walls are white. My bedroom is huge with a very big window with a fantastic views of the mountain and the sea.

In the bedroom, there is a very big and comfortable bed with a white bedhead. Next to the bed, there is a white bedside table.

I haven’t got any TV but I have got a desk with a lapbook on it. Neither I’ve got any sofa or a coat stand.

I’ve got a huge wardrobe, a purple carpet on the floor and a mirror.

In my room there is a dressing in front of the desk with a mirror, lights around the mirror and a stool.

My favorite thing in this room is the wardrobe because it is big and beautiful and the views, too.
